LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WKBT) – The La Crosse County Outbreak and Investigations page COVID-19 added five establishments to the high-risk category and one to the low-risk group on Wednesday.
New high-risk locations and times when people may have been exposed include:
• Iron Physique Gym at La Crosse, 7 to 10 am July 16.
• Jimmy’s North Star at La Crosse, July 16-18.
• Starlight Lounge at La Crosse, 6-7: 30 pm July 16.
• Milwaukee Burger Company at La Crosse, July 22 and 23.
• Red lobster at La Crosse, July 22.
Those who have had a high risk exposure should complete the Risk Assessment and References Form on page COVID-19.
New to the low-risk list is Boost Mobile at La Crosse, from 4:30 to 4 pm, on July 18.
The establishments remain on the list for 14 days after the last known positive case was present. Just because an establishment appears on the page does not necessarily mean they have done something wrong, nor does it appear on the page that the establishment should be closed.
The La Crosse County Health Department reported nine new laboratory-confirmed cases on Wednesday, bringing the country’s total to 767. Of those, 650 cases are considered recovered, five are hospitalized and a La Crosse County resident has dead.
Overall positive tests are 4.5%.
Today’s demographics are two women ages 30-39, three men ages 20-29, two women ages 20-29, and two women ages 60-69.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 16,288 negative tests have been completed in La Crosse County, including 191 since Tuesday.
