The San Francisco 49ers announced that Cornwack or Wawn Williams have been suspended for two games for the PED. Williams suffered a sprained ankle and was unlikely to play the next two games anyway. Williams deserves to return on Dec. 8, following Week 13’s Monday night game against Bill.
In addition, 49 people opened practice windows to run backs, Rahim Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr.. Both players are eligible to play against the Rams this Sunday. Like Williams, both were on the injured reserve with ankle sprains. They have been the two best runners on this roster. The return of Mustart and Wilson should provide significant impetus for the San Francisco offensive.
49 people signed Chris Edwards to a one-year deal on security, as Jakaski Tart, Jonathan Cyprian, and Jared Madden are all on the IR. Edwards (6-2, 215) entered the NFL after signing with the original Auckland Raiders on May 16, 2016 as an uncertified free agent. Auckland later pardoned him on August 29, 2016.
From 2017-19, Edwards spent time in the Canadian Football League with Edmonton Eskimos (2017-18) and BC Lions (2019), where he appeared in 53 games and recorded 112 tackles, four contradictions (returned for one touch), four forced. Gone and a sack. He signed a reserve / futures agreement with 49 people on January 8, 2020, and was later pardoned by the team on August 4.
The original 27-year-old Southfield, MI, Edwards Butt (Auroville, CA) attended the University of Idaho for two seasons (2014-15) after moving from C to Lage. Edwards appeared in 18 games (12 starts) with Wandles and recorded 76 tackles, three interruptions. Defended three pass 1.0 sacks, one forced and one vague recovery.
The San Francisco signing team also signed WR Schwinn Pointext and S Kai Nakua. Poindexter (6-5, 218) originally signed on May 3, 2019 with 49 May as an Unfract Rookie Free Agent. He spent his entire rookie season on the team’s injured reserve list after being pardoned / injured on August 21, 2019. Training camp with the 49ers before the team waives on September 5, 2020.
Nakua (6-0, 205) entered the original NFL on May 11, 2017 after signing with the Cleveland Browns as an uncertified free agent. In three NFL seasons with the Browns (2017), Baltimore Ravens (2018), Carolina Panthers (2018), and the Indianapolis Colts (2019), he has appeared in 16 games (three starts) and recorded 13 tackle calls.
