343 businesses shut down Halo Xbox 360 servers by the end of 2021

343 Industries has announced that the studio will shut down servers and sunset services for many Xbox 360 Halo titles next year. Halo: Reach, Halo 4, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo: Spartan Assault (Xbox 360) and Halo Wars will reduce or disable their services next December 2021. This gives you a warning to grab it before any achievements from the affected games stop.

According to 3 Indust3 Industries, achievement support “differs by title which requires matchmaking and challenges will no longer be met.” The offenders who will lose support for the achievement are Halo: Reach, Halo and and Halo notes. The chart above notes that the achievements of Halo :: ODST, Hello Wars, and Halo: Spartan Assault should be affected, while Halo: Fighting can accomplish the evolutionary anniversary. All offline flights remain unlocked. To be on the safe side, only in the case of X would it be possible to work through all Xboxes for the achievements of all online-flagged haloes.

All of these games are also listed from the micro .ft store, so if you haven’t played these titles and want to start working your way through their list of achievements, you’ll need to find physical copies of each game. As a side note, Halo: Spartan Assault (Xbox 360) is a partial disc off / inevitable achievement and is not physically available.

343 industries say services will be discontinued after December 18, 2021. You have one year to unlock any achievements from this game before they are discontinued.
