3 turns to the heel and 2 turns to the face that can happen at Extreme Rules 2020

The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules 2020 is not the strongest PPV card, but we must not forget that it is the card with low expectations that tends to deliver in a big way. Given the strange name of PPV, we hope that Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman’s “Swamp Match” will headline the show.

Even though it’s an untitled match, if done correctly (like the Boneyard match), it’s the perfect main event on the card. We were a little surprised how WWE sidelined a multitude of PPV stars and legends such as Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and The Big Show.

Perhaps we are in the era of shorter VPPs until the crowd returns. Either way, the cards that seem to have the least effort can also be filled with all sorts of twists and turns.

In this edition, we will focus on the possible heels and twists that could happen in The Horror Show at Extreme Rules 2020.

# 3. Heel twist: Cedric Alexander

MVP has been trying to recruit some names now to join Bobby Lashley and himself. At first he tried Apollo Crews, but he didn’t. Thanks to a win over Crews in an untitled match, he staged a United States Championship match against him at Extreme Rules and the winner will take home the new Championship layout.

Another name he’s been trying to recruit, more than Ricochet, is Cedric Alexander. We felt that Cedric Alexander needed a character change for a while. If Apollo Crews could rebuild itself after five years of being underutilized, Cedric Alexander can certainly do the same with a change of direction. He could have a role to play in the MVP match with Apollo Crews.

While we don’t think the time is right for Crews to lose the United States title, it could happen at Extreme Rules.
