The Las Vegas Riders are off this week as they are on their much-needed Bye Week. But just a few weeks after the NFL trade deadline, the Riders are exploring a potential trade at this very moment.
Today, we take a look at three businesses in which riders should consider helping push their playoffs for the 2020 season.
If the riders are going to upgrade their team, one place they might consider adding is that they will be on the defensive line. Owner Collins signed a one-year deal earlier this season, but is not ready for either party. It is also worth mentioning that Maurice Hurst is currently on the COVID-19 / reserve list and the team missed Week 5 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
If riders seriously want to upgrade the position, the biggest name that is available is Quinn Williams of the New York Jets. With the Jets looking ready to clean the house, they could consider trading the No. 3 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, if it pulls any.
With the Raiders likely to be in contention for a playoff this season, their 2020 first-round picks are unlikely to be within the top-15. That would be a fair deal for the riders as Williams is just 22 years old and starting his own income.
New York will be able to add a second first round pick to their arsenal, which could be used to achieve their future quarterbacks. Williams will be an easy sale of a riders fanbase that needs more help on the internal defensive line.
