Montana state health officials reported three more deaths and 129 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 monitoring map.
A new death was reported in Lake County and one death in Yellowstone County. The Yellowstone County death was related to the Billings Call Center, where a COVID-19 outbreak has claimed the lives of 15 people. A man in his 80s died Thursday at Canyon Creek Memory Care, according to RiverStone Health.

The third death was reported in Glacier County. Glacier County and Lake County deaths are the first COVID-19 related deaths in those areas. Yellowstone County has now reported 21 COVID-19 related deaths. The total number of deaths from the virus in Montana now stands at 46.
Yellowstone County reported most new cases on Friday with 40, followed by Cascade County with 20 and Gallatin County with 18. Flathead County reported 13 new cases and Glacier County has 10 new cases of coronavirus. Big Horn County reported eight new cases.
The remaining new cases were distributed in 11 Montana counties.

The total number of cases accumulated in Montana since the pandemic began in March is now 3,039. There have been 1,815 recoveries and there are currently 56 people hospitalized.
There are currently 1,178 active cases of COVID-19 in Montana. Yellowstone County has the most active cases with 429. Each of Gallatin and Big Horn counties has 110 active cases. Lake County has 100 active cases.

A total of 149,200 tests have been conducted in the state, an increase of 2,982 during the previous 24-hour reporting period.
