Three people have been arrested in connection with the attack by a Chilean teenage hostess who tried to deal with the restaurant’s seating restrictions due to the coronavirus, according to Baton Rouge police.
Tammy Dabney, 48, was booked on a second-degree battery charge, while both 27-year-old Rodneka Dabney and 46-year-old Erica Dabney were booked on a peace and simple battery charge.
The three suspects are thought to be part of a group of 11 people who tried to eat together in the Chilies on Constitution Avenue at 4.45pm on Saturday.
A teenage hostess in a Baton Rouge Chile restaurant had to be treated in a hospital for injuries she sustained when a group of people attacked …
The hostess, Kelsy Wallace, told her that only six people were sitting under the restrictions that were put in place during the pandemic.
When Wallace tried to figure out what to do with the large group, the exchange turned physical, with one in the group grabbing a ‘wet floor’ sign and slapping her in the face there.
BRPD said she suffered minor to moderate injuries from the attack and had to be hospitalized. Wallace also told WBRZ-TV that the fight required her to get stings above her eye.
