If overkill and overwhelmingly positive reaction are any indication, the 2021 Ford Bronco It’s going to be a great seller, especially when SUVs first start channeling into dealerships. But, despite the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices, the dealer finally sets the final price. And factory-backed discounts on a vehicle as popular as the Bronco will be few and far between.
There is something that could help a lot of potential Cerril foal owners: Ford X-Plan. Many automakers jump into employee pricing deals, but the X-Plan is a fairly wide discount for friends and family that Ford offers year-round. With it, you can probably get a Bronco 2021 just below MSRP without worrying about dealer margins.
Motor Trend first detailed the X-Plan route for the new SUV on Wednesday, and the magazine included some less-known ways to catch the X-Plan. Of course, the simplest option is to be a Ford employee or have a Ford employee as your spouse. Ford-approved fleet and supplier companies also have access to the X-Plan, and each person can generate four X-Plan PINs per year. This is essentially how this discount works throughout the year. You just have to meet someone … or meet someone who knows someone.

The most intriguing workaround to get an X-Plan discount you may not be aware of is the shareholder option. If you own at least 100 Ford shares and hold them for six months, Ford will allow you to access the X-Plan discount and give you one PIN per year. Another option is to enroll in one of the various groups Ford supports, such as the Mustang Club of America. Club membership costs $ 25 per year, and after 60 days, you can also generate a Plan X PIN.
So you might pay to ask when it is time to place an order for a 2021 Bronco. There are many good dealers out there, but almost certainly, some will ask for a lot of money to download some of the first Broncos shipped.
