2021 Audi A3 Sportback shows its artistic side on camera

Due to its youthful look, emphasized by the S Line package, one could easily confuse this Audi A3 Sportback with the RS3, but the top-range of the series has yet to be covered.

What we’re really looking at here is the 35 TFSI variant, and unless one is familiar with Ingolstadt’s automaker’s confusing naming scheme these days, they might be tempted to think that it includes a great engine behind that great grille.

However, the 35 TFSI nomenclature is the designation of choice for the 1.5-liter gasoline engine. The turbocharged unit pumps 148 HP (150 PS / 110 kW) at 5,000-6,000 rpm and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm. This engine can be paired with either a standard 6-speed manual transmission or an optional S Tronic transmission, starting at £ 25,375 ($ 32,267) and £ 25,525 ($ 32,457) in the UK respectively, and in both cases translating to 8.4 seconds required for acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 km / h) and a top speed of 139 mph (224 km / h).

Finished in Python Yellow, which is an exclusive color available only on select Audi models, and contrasted with black accents, this compact hatchback revealed its artistic side on video, in Poland’s capital Warsaw. The car was filmed from multiple angles and also underwent various acceleration tests by auditography. If you are familiar with your videos, you already know what to expect, so we won’t keep you waiting.
