As WWE continues to distribute its true brand in the second season of its new television contracts, it is in the midst of grabbing a second WWE draft to shake up the rosters of its two main shows. The draft began on SmackDown on Friday night and ends on Monday night Row with each superstar on both rosters available for selection.

There will be more than 60 superstars (men, women and tag teams) taking on the two-day draft, which includes a three-hour show, with three picks for each of the two selected by SmackDown. The WWE has split that superstar into two pools to ensure the company’s biggest stars will work the attractions over the two-day draft.

On the first night of the draft, held Friday during SmackDown on Fox, four of WWE’s six singles champions have qualified, though they all stayed on their respective brands. The other two – Belle (SmackDown Women) and Sami Zen (InterContinental) – will be present for selection on Monday during the USA Network’s Raw.

However, the early Fox-USA network draft in 2019 received mostly negative reviews – it was largely boring and left the rosters uneven – WWE decided to use a similar format with Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon announcing each pick in a commissioner-type role. . The correction was made Friday night as the WWE celebrated a pre-tapped battlefield featuring cartoon robots and face-drawn officers and focused on the reactions of the drafted superstars.

All that is left now is to break the WWE draft format and prepare for the actual selection. Keep reading for a detailed look at the rules of the WWE Draft and which superstars are available to choose from every day.
