2020 NFL Playoff Race, Status: Washington wins NFCSest, Bears and Colts secure postseason


With the closing of Week 17, the NFL has reached the conclusion of its regular season. All 32 teams were in action on Sunday, with 12 of the 16 games affecting the playoffs, regardless of whether a playoff spot was selected in the situation or the convention involved seeding.

Five teams competed for four playoff places in the AFC (including the AFC South winner), while six teams competed for three places in the NFC (three for the NFC pre-winner and three for the two wild-card venues). The wild final weekend of the NFL regular season is almost over with playoff matchups set.

Cleveland Browns

What to know: The Browns win the playoffs by beating the Steelers.

Playoff view: Cleveland is seeded No. 6 in the playoffs and will play Pittsburgh in the wild-card round next weekend. The Broncos have reached the playoff birth for the first time since 2002.

Indianapolis Colts

What to know: The Colts win a playoff berth with a win over the Jaguars.

Miami Dolphins

What to know: Dolphins ranked 8th with a hit to the Dolphins Bill, and the Ravens and Browns won on Sunday.
