2020 Leaderboard Northern Trust: Live coverage, golf scores, FedEx Cup, Tiger Woods score today in Round 2

An unlikely quartet of golfers lead the 2020 Northern Trust entering Round 2, but that is unlikely to last through the second 18 holes Friday, as several heavyweights cut to the heels of Harris English, Russell Henley, Cameron Davis and Kevin Streelman at TPC Boston. Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Matthew Wolff en Tommy Fleetwood are one of those within five shots of the lead and are looking to place a monstrous second round on a course where it looks like you will have to run low to survive.

Some (like Fowler and Fleetwood) will play to stay alive in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, while others (like Thomas and McIlroy) will play for positioning going into the Tour Championship. Everyone in Boston will be playing an engaging, fun course with a lot at stake (in both money and distinctions). On Thursday we saw a bit of everything, which is what you would expect from Round 1 of a FedEx Cup Playoffs event in a year as bizarre as 2020. On Friday we should get a lot of the same (and hopefully even more) with most of the big names leaving in the afternoon ahead of what should be a very compelling weekend.

CBS Sports will be the whole way to update this story with the latest scores, updates and highlights below. Check out the live scores at the top of this story, a more detailed Leaderboard and our full view of the show.
