2 people exit Delta Flight via Service Dog Emergency Slide while taking a taxi at New York’s Lagarde Airport

EAST ELMHURST, QUEENS – Two people opened the cabin door and exited the plane through an emergency slide Monday morning at New York’s Lagarde Airport.

Delta Airlines Flight 462 was en route to Atlanta and was taking a taxi when the incident occurred.

Officials with Delta said Benny’s party opened the door and exited through a slide with a service dog.

The plane then returned to the gate where the other passengers were stranded and put on an alternate flight.

The aircraft was inspected by a maintenance technician following an incident prior to returning to service.

The passengers were later identified as Antonio Murdoch, 31, and Brina Greco, 23, both of Florida.

Officials say Murdoch claimed the post-traumatic stress caused him and his female companion to grab their service dog and come down the emergency slide.

Murdoch is charged with second-degree criminal misconduct, second-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree criminal injustice, while the Greeks are charged with third-degree criminal offense.

A small dog named Rain turned to animal care and control and was expected to return to the owner.

Murdoch claimed that the previous robbery case was provoked by the limited space in the PTSD aircraft from time to time in prison.
