2 new deaths, 178 additional COVID-19 cases reported in New Mexico

The death toll among COVID-19 New Mexico residents is now at 875.

In addition to the deaths, 178 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in the state. A total of 29,157 cases were reported in New Mexico as of Tuesday 001.

  • 28 new cases in Chavez County
  • 3 new cases in Sibola County
  • 17 new cases in Curry County
  • 26 new cases in Doana Ana County
  • 14 new cases in Eddie County
  • 7 new cases in Lena County
  • 1 new case in Lincoln County
  • 3 new cases in McKinley County
  • 5 new cases in Ter Toro County
  • 1 new case in Rio Aririba County
  • 11 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 5 new cases in San Juan County
  • 7 new cases in Santa Fe County
  • 1 new case in Sokoro County
  • 1 new case in Taos County

KOB 4 determined that the state’s Tuesday report had a positive result of 2.4% of the tests analyzed.

The state reports that 80 people are currently being treated at the hospital for Kovid-19. The number may include individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 outside the state but are hospitalized in New Mexico.

As of Tuesday, 16,565 Covid-19 cases have been recovered, recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
