Four new virus-related deaths and 1,075 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the state since Monday, according to daily figures released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 22,813 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of deaths rose to 432, the state health department said Tuesday.
Four new deaths were reported, but none of them occurred in the last 24 hours.
The four deaths are: one in Creek County, a man in the age group 65 and older. One in Kay County, a man in the group age 65 and older. One in Oklahoma County, a man in the age group 65 or older. One in Tulsa County, a woman in the age group 65 or older.
A total of 2,170 Oklahomans have been hospitalized due to the virus with 561 patients currently in the hospital.
So far, 16,635 Oklahomans have recovered from the virus with 820 more cases considered recovered since Wednesday. Health officials said recovered means that the patient is not hospitalized or deceased and that 14 days have passed since the onset of symptoms or the report.
As of Wednesday morning, a total of 424,512 tests returned negative results. This includes state tests and private laboratory tests since February.
Governor Stitt said Wednesday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
