One person was killed and many more injured after a shooting in Southeast DC early on Sunday morning.
DC police said shots were fired at 1 a.m. Sunday on the 3300 block of Dubois Place SE, in a residential area located between Fort Circle Park and the northwest Anacostia Freeway.
At least nine people were transported to several nearby hospitals after treatment, a police spokesman confirmed. No further details were immediately available.
