(NASDAQ: ZM) announced today that Jason Lee will join the company as its Director of Information Security, effective June 29, 2020. Lee brings 20 years of experience in information security and mission service operations. review. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Security Operations at Salesforce and was previously Senior Director of Security Engineering at Microsoft. Lee will lead Zoom’s security team and report to Aparna Bawa, Director of Operations for Zoom.

Jason Lee is the Director of Information Security at Zoom with 20 years of technology experience, specializing in information security and mission critical service operations. Most recently, he was senior vice president of security operations at Salesforce, where he was responsible for the global organization that provides critical end-to-end security operations to customers and employees, including network and company-wide system security, incident response , threat information, data protection, vulnerability management, intrusion detection, identity and access management, and the offensive security team. Prior to Salesforce, he held the position of Chief Director of Security Engineering for the Windows and Devices division at Microsoft with the status of protecting the online services of Windows Update, XBOX live and Microsoft’s online store. He was also the Senior Director of Developer Services, where he was responsible for the design and management of the mission critical PKI for all products at Microsoft. This included cryptographic services on products like Windows and SQL Server, and cloud services like Azure and Office 365. Additionally, Jason was responsible for code signing and antimalware services that support Microsoft in that role.
