A software engineer from Apex Legends Developer Respawn has clarified how the pairing will work when PC rooms merge with console rooms later this year.
Comeback developer Jake Smullin addressed concerns that crossover gaming will adversely affect console fans who play with a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse by confirming that if you don’t have a PC gamer on your team , you are less likely to be compared to competitive PC gamers (thanks, DBLTAP)
“I wanted to clarify something about cross-play. You will only be in the PC cross-game lobby if you have a PC player on your team,” Smullin said in a TikTok video.
“I’ve been seeing a lot of console players worried about this, but no. Everyone should be excited.”
There’s been a lot of talk about Apex Legends pairing lately, especially skill-based pairing (SBMM) – but Respawn says it is trying to “increase justice” and ensure that the matchmaker “gives[s] you [a] better / fairer match. “

In related news, the final Apex Legends Season 5 Limited Time Mode (LTM) is rumored to be “Always Be Closing Evolved,” a mode in which the ring will continue to move continuously. A Redditor, who had successfully obtained data information in the past, believes he has discovered the final TLM description that says “keep moving, the ring will not slow down and you need to accumulate some damage. The ring never stops closing” .
Since Apex Legends season 5 dropped, we’ve seen a few changes in King’s Canyon, but recent nerfs and perks haven’t had much of an impact on the Legends we love to play the most. According to a recent analysis, Wraith has an impressive 27 percent usage rate, making it significantly more popular than any other legend, including Pathfinder and Lifeline, which are the second and third favorites, respectively.
Respawn Entertainment recently opened a new studio in Vancouver, Canada to focus on the future of their successful free Battle Royale, but recently confirmed that they are not currently working on another Titanfall game. However, the good news is that Zampella says a rebirth of the series has not been ruled out, and many people in Respawn would love for this to happen.
