Yakuza: like a dragon It will launch for PlayStation 5 in the west, in addition to its previously announced Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions, Sega announced.

The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions (Steam, Humble Store, and Microsoft Store) will launch in November. As previously announced, the Xbox Series X version will launch on the first day of the console’s release date. The PlayStation 5 version will launch at a later date.

Xbox versions will support “Smart Delivery”, ensuring consumers will only have to purchase the game once to play it on Xbox One or Xbox Series X when both the console and that version of the game are available.

A PlayStation 5 upgrade path is also being planned and will be announced at a later date.

The previously announced “Day One Edition” of Yakuza: like a dragon The “Day Ichi Edition” will be officially titled. (“Ichi” means “one” in Japanese, and is also a nickname for the protagonist Ichiban Kasuga, whose first name means “No. 1”). It joins the “Hero” and “Legendary Hero” editions, which are available to pre-order in digital storefronts starting today. Here is an overview of each edition:

Sega also announced the cast of English voices for Yakuza: like a dragon, what includes:

  • Kaiji Tang as Ichiban Kasuga, protagonist of the story who returns from 18 years in prison.
  • George Takei as Masumi Arakawa, patriarch of the Arakawa family.
  • Andrew Morgado as Koichi Adachi, a former police officer in search of the truth.
  • Greg Chun as Yu Nanba, oppressed former nurse making peace with the world.
  • Elizabeth Maxwell as Saeko Mukoda, a bar hostess on a mission.
