Wynonna Earp Comic-Con @ Home Panel in Season 4

Wynonna earp Fans (Earpers, for those in the know), have been waiting for years for more episodes of the show that follows the supernatural trials and adventures that Wynonna, heir to Wyatt Earp, faces with her family and friends.

It’s been a long wait, and while fans have been able to chew on a trailer that fell in late June to keep them satiated, many Earpers are eager for more, even though they only have to wait until Sunday night for the first episode. Season 4 to drop on SYFY.

Those who can’t wait these past few hours, however, found some sustenance on the show’s Comic-Con @ Home panel on Saturday night. During the virtual event, showrunner Emily Andras, along with cast members Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Tim Rozon (Doc Holiday), Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverly Earp), Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught) and Varun Saranga (Jeremy Chetri), they met and also treated fans for a preview of the first episode of Season 4.

You can see all the games the panelists played, as well as a clip from the first episode of Season 4 in the full panel here:

Those interested in the clip can look to the end of the video, where panelists saw us along with us (and provided their own comments) about the shared scene. In it, we see Wynonna trying to find a weapon to arm herself now that she doesn’t have a Peacemaker, the magic weapon (usually in weapon form) that can send demons back to hell.

Once he finally finds the weapon of his choice, Wynonna and Sheriff Nedley (Greg Lawson) head into the woods to find the mythical stairs that Doc Holiday and Waverly Earp disappeared by the end of Season 3. Wynonna climbs the stairs, conquering his fear, only to fall to the ground in our own world. Then we cut to see Waverly chained and screaming elsewhere. Where? We do not know!

However, one thing we do know is that Season 4 premieres late this Sunday night, and that the late deadline is because this season will be the first time the show has received a TV-MA rating, which means there is content that will not be suitable. for children. Andras explained what this new parent guide will mean for the season.

“We can definitely make it sexier, more violent. Nedley can drop more F bombs, which he apparently loves to do, ”Andras joked. “Simply more of everything, more Earp. However, I would not say that the show is more mature: we are still silly and fun, and everything you like Earp. “

Season 4 of Wynonna earp premieres July 26 on SYFY at 10 / 9c, and its mid-season finale is expected to air on August 30.
