WWE’s ThunderDome set will make its debut on SmackDown on Friday night and virtual seat registration hit capacity in no time.

The company had initially said registration would begin Monday night, but things were clearly delayed because that did not happen until Tuesday night. Sources say registration for virtual seats in the ThunderDome at SmackDown hit capacity in minutes although going live.

We are told WWE will open registration for SummerSlam later this week.

The top of the registration page states: “Be part of SmackDown hosted by a WWE SuperStar!”

No additional information was given about what part of the virtual crowd would mean.

As we reported earlier … will be WWE bringing fans back into the arena via live video on massive LED boards for their upcoming stay at the Amway Center. The shows will also feature modern technology, drone cameras, pyro and more.

Kevin Dunn revealed during an interview that the virtual audience is not visible on one video wall. The arena will instead have 1,000 LED boards with rows and rows of fans to simulate the WWE experience.
