The June 29 issue of Monday Night Raw promised a great double-contract signing for WWE Extreme Rules: The Horror Show officiated by Samoa Joe.

Drew McIntyre agreed to a game with the new commercial acquisition of Raw Dolph Ziggler. Asuka accepted the challenge from Sasha Banks even though The Legit Boss was still a Friday Night SmackDown star. With two champions and two challengers in the ring at the same time, she was likely to go insane.

More chaos was expected thanks to Seth Rollins. The June 22 edition of Raw ended with Rey Mysterio, Dominik, Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo standing. He told the world that he now needed to apologize.

Big Show and Ric Flair stated that they would appear on the show while Randy Orton appeared in the background, waiting for the strike.

Akira Tozawa had to defend his Championship 24/7 against R-Truth after slipping away with the title thanks to Bobby Lashley. For this week, The All Mighty was set to be on the corner of Montel Vontavious Porter for an untitled match against United States champion Apollo Crews.

After Andrade and Angel Garza presented The Street Profits, The Viking Profits challenged Zelina Vega’s crew to a match on behalf of their friends.

This show was full of great moments and games, and no one knew what to expect.

The show started in the middle of a fight when Bayley and Sasha Banks beat Asuka. Dolph Ziggler arrived to introduce Drew McIntyre, calling him ungrateful. The two men exchanged verbal shots before signing their contracts for WWE Extreme Rules.

McIntyre allowed Ziggler to choose the stipulation for his match. The Empress of Tomorrow interrupted The Showoff to sign her contract. The fights continued once The Boss signed his name on the dotted line.

    Analysis

Opening the show is the best approach, even if it doesn’t mean a real match. It was easy to get excited about the show when everyone was fighting right away. She especially sold the heat between Asuka and Banks wordlessly.

Establish a stipulation for McIntyre vs. Ziggler, which The Showoff can choose from, allows Ziggler a glimmer of hope in a one-sided rivalry. If you can pick a game that suits you about the WWE champion, it will give fans some hope that you can win.

The cameras captured Angel Garza, along with Zelina Vega and Andrade, unable to seduce the referee for their Viking Raiders game, Jessika Carr. Charly Caruso questioned the group’s strategy before Big Show interrupted and demanded that he take his place. next door to call Randy Orton.

Andrade and Garza became involved in the Show segment, beginning to surround it. Ric Flair encouraged them to do some damage to the world’s greatest athlete by telling Show that The Viper was falling behind for the time being. The Viking Raiders ran to save.

Vega’s team continued to argue repeatedly. The Idol almost abandoned The Most Beautiful Man, but their manager convinced them to continue fighting together. Their teamwork improved when Ivar was kicked out of the game. Andrade hit a rear elbow on Erik to set up Garza’s Wing Clipper for victory.

    Outcome

Andrade y Garza def. Raiders by pinfall.

    Degree

    yes

    Analysis

Show and Flair without Orton was much less effective than last week. It’s hard to get excited about two veterans who are no longer yelling at each other. Show didn’t need to get involved in any of this, especially the awkward overlap with the tag team rivalry.

The tag team match that remained delivered. Andrade and Garza have chemistry to spare despite their odd combination to start. The Raiders always comply. It was great overall and showed why Vega’s team should be allied for a while before the final breakup.

Akira Tozawa stood with a trio of ninjas as she prepared for the arrival of R-Truth. The match did not last long before the challenger managed to convince the champion to stop for a moment. It gave Truth enough opportunity to roll Tozawa up for a count of three.

Afterward, he dodged the ninjas and ran off with his title in hand again.

    Outcome

The truth def. Tozawa by pinfall to become the new champion 24/7.

    Analysis

While promoted in advance, this felt like a filler segment released at the last minute. It was an uninteresting addition to a rivalry that has been built over time with creativity. The last time Tozawa was after the 24/7 Championship, he had to stop Santa. Now he is just a ninja.

The biggest problem with the 24/7 Championship is that no one can defend it in a real match. Tozawa lost faster as champion than in recent squash matches against top talents like Andrade and Murphy.

Seth Rollins apologized to Rey Mysterio for the horrible things he would do to the Master of 619. Mysterio interrupted him from a live broadcast at his home. He asked for Dominik’s forgiveness for what he would do to The Monday Night Messiah. Dominik accepted the apology and promised that Rollins would pay.

Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo left to escape Rollins and Murphy. The Messiah questioned why the Dutch destroyer and the Mexican superstar fought over Mysterio. Rollins called the Master of the Cowardly 619, which caused both faces. Black called Rollins evil.

The Messiah promised to end this, by organizing an impromptu team match. Rollins thought he was getting into an easy fight, but he wasn’t ready for Black’s attacks or Carrillo’s resistance.

However, the cohesion of Murphy and Rollins was too much. Carrillo survived a powerbomb / knee dive combination, but was unable to send the Stomp off. Later, Black saved Carrillo from losing an eye, but El Mesías hit the Mexican Superstar with the Stomp on the steel steps.

    Outcome

Rollins and Murphy def. Negro y Carrillo by pinfall.

    Degree

    B +

    Analysis

Rollins has raced with this trick for a while, leading to many large segments. When it works, it really works. This was correct because Rollins really backed up his words with actions. He may not have blinded Carrillo, but he won and stood up.

You need to build momentum again. That starts with Rollins and Murphy picking up wins together. It would be better if Black did not suffer from it, but it is better to commit to an angle than to try to establish everyone at once.

The IIconics taunted Ruby Riott, who was trying to contact Liv Morgan. Riott challenged Peyton Royce or Billie Kay to fight her tonight. Lana found Riott before their match and told her to start listening to Natalya.

Kay helped Royce get an early lead, and that was enough. Royce connected to a gamengiri, setting up a spinning brainbuster for victory.

    Outcome

    Royce def. Riott by pinfall.

    Degree

    C-

    Analysis

This was the best game Riott has had in a long time, but it was too short. The story was beginning to unfold when Royce won. This has been the story of its development since its return. Something has to change, and it will probably start by teaming up with Morgan.

Until then, Riott will continue to come up short in games that shouldn’t seem overwhelming, but will only take a few minutes anyway. This is just a waste of your talent.

Andrade and Angel Garza were afraid to fight on the Big Show early, and it showed itself in action. The world’s greatest athlete threw them easily.

The Most Beautiful Man managed to do serious damage to Show’s left knee, only to have El Idolo force himself into the match. Garza abandoned him, causing Andrade to suffer a chokeslam and a loss to the world’s greatest athlete.

    Outcome

Show def. Andrade and Garza for pinfall.

    Degree

    F

    Analysis

This was not only unnecessary but counterproductive. Andrade and Garza found their cohesion together to defeat The Viking Raiders. It was supposed to be a big turning point. Instead, they lost on the same night because they couldn’t be on the same page.

How can anyone take the duo seriously as challengers to The Street Profits if they can’t win a handicap match against a single opponent? Zelina Vega’s group has barely taken off, however, it is constantly fragmenting.

In the backstage, Bobby Lashley asked Montel Vontavious Porter why he was still trying to recruit Apollo Crews. His manager said he had ended up playing well with the United States champion. I just needed it to learn an important lesson.

MVP continued his speech about respect in the ring until Crews cut him off. He told MVP that he did not want a manager. MVP warned that he was worse off having MVP as his enemy.

All Mighty made sure to help the MVP steal this victory. A major distraction from Lashley installed a large boot on a fisherman’s suplex for a count of three.

Crews later attacked MVP out of frustration, but Lashley locked him in a full nelson. Ricochet and Cedric Alexander made salvation.

This created The All Mighty vs. The One and Only. Lashley dominated most of the game, but Ricochet countered by escaping the full nelson. A springboard moon jump almost sealed the victory, but Lashley cast. He caught a side kick, turning her into a high chokeslam in the full nelson for quick submission.

Alexander saved Ricochet after the bell, but he was stuck in the full nelson for his problem.

    Outcome

MVP def. Crews for pinfall; Lashley def. Ricochet by submission.

    Degree

    yes

    Analysis

Crews vs. MVP was fine but nothing special. The end was particularly awkward. The champion of the United States will gain credibility by defeating a veteran as MVP in a major game in the future. However, like this match, it will not be a good in-ring contest.

On the other hand, Ricochet vs. Lashley was the best game of the night by a solid margin. It was nice to see Ricochet and Alexander again, who continue to remind everyone of their talent. They just need opportunities.

Drew McIntyre and Asuka joined behind the scenes in preparation for the main event. Sasha Banks and Bayley warned Dolph Ziggler to do their job and not cost The Legit Boss the game.

The Showoff had no idea how to compete against the power of the WWE champion, so Banks had to save multiple times. The Chief barely stepped in to save Ziggler from McIntyre’s wrath.

Asuka came out of the Bank Statement and locked herself in Asuka’s Lock only for Banks to make it a fixed combination for three. Bayley celebrated with Banks and Ziggler to end the show.

    Outcome

Banks and Ziggler def. Asuka and McIntyre for pinfall.

    Degree

    yes

    Analysis

This was a fun main event that took full advantage of a limited roster. The pairing of McIntyre and Asuka was fun, although anyone paired with The Empress of Tomorrow works. Ziggler also showed some promise as a future challenger for a motivated McIntyre, which was welcome.

It was important at this point to establish the challengers instead of the dominant champions. However, Asuka doesn’t need losses on her resume right now. She has lost more than she has gained lately. Ziggler’s stealing a McIntyre victory would have meant more.
