Miz spent all night in his power to avoid stripping the line, including running from the match to lose the countout, but Shane McMahon was in the building to make sure there would be a legal title defense. Themed ome McMahon’s involvement was enough to stop Miz from using underhand tricks to leave me as WWE Champion.

Bobby Lashley eventually became the WWE Champion
After losing the WWE Championship against Miz at the Elimination Chamber, Drew D’Quintier started the show with a promo in his first appearance. He said a win between Meez and Bobby Lashley later that night would be a big goal on his back. As I Conte was ready to address Shamus before his match, he was intercepted by The Miz and John Morrison. Miz McIntyre said he has only done what is expected of the bank’s contract holder to make money, make cash at the right time, and told the former champion that he should focus his anger on Lash Shali. As Miz thought of working with Mikintair, he was interrupted by MVP, who asked if Mikantre took Miz strictly before telling Miz that nothing could change his fate and the match would be at the top of the second hour of the show.

The two big men made each other ruthless in a very hard hit match which saw a combination of brawl and big power moves. After a long battle seeing many long falls, I Conteire managed to win an excellent match.
WWE Championship – Bobby Lashley Deaf. By Miz (C) countout. At 9 p.m., Miz claimed to have cramps and diarrhea, which caused Lashley to attack her in the back. Adam Pierce postponed the match by an hour, and Miz appealed to MVP and Lash Shelley to hold the match at his WrestleMania, which they refused. As soon as the match started, Meez stepped out of the ring, grabbed his belt and ran backwards, winning the countout. The backstage, Mah Kamehon, said there would be a real title match or he would snatch Miz and award Lashley.
WWE Championship – Bobby Lashley Deaf. Meez (c) by submission With heart to win the title. Prior to the main event, McMahon defeated Lambjack Match. After the match, Meez tried to hit Lashley with the championship belt, trying to force an ineligibility, but Lashley blocked the shot. Meez then tried to run out of the ring but was knocked back by Lumberjacks. Lashley dominated Miz before pushing submissions and winning the championship in the heart lock.
Running a show-long angle with too many starts and stops can be dangerous, but Lashley’s journey to becoming a world champion in the end was largely well done. Miz knew there was no way he was going to win by one against Lash Slay, and he just wouldn’t be allowed to avoid his fate. During the WWE run Lashley eventually has things clicking, and there’s a lot left to say for her to put her in such a huge space with bad angles and constant fan criticism. The matches themselves were nothing, but he probably should have played everything. Grade: b

- Damien Priest Def. Elias by Pinfall After the hit lights. Prior to the match, Priest and Bed Bunny Elias and Jackson Riker entered the backstage.
- Randy Thornton’s promo was interrupted by Alexa Bliss. Orton spoke of vomiting last week’s raw black goo before the bliss was interrupted on the monitor. She said “Bring it back” before he got someone out, before removing it, said Randy Orton. The ton on the video said that ton ton will have to face everything he does before he starts suffocating again.
- Charlotte Flair Def. Shayna Basler by Pinfial After hitting the natural selection. Before the match, Flair announced that he wanted to challenge Asuka for the raw women’s title at WrestleMania, before being interrupted and attacked by Basler and Jacques.

- Mustafa Ali D.F. Riddle by Pinfall After the backstabber from the top rope. Ali sought a match with Riddle after losing his retribution lacquers in the previous match.
