WWE has yet to announce how many positive cases of COVID-19 are in the company, and it’s remarkable that many people in the company are still in the dark in all the names that test positive.
In the case of Renee Young, she was tested at home when she started not feeling well and then reported to WWE management. Her husband Jon Moxley was evaluated and her test was negative.
Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that neither Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Paul Levesque or Mark Carrano contacted her as of 6/25 to ask how she was doing. Many fighters contacted her and some sent her good wishes on social media.
Meltzer noted in the Observer that she was tired after all, and her chest felt heavy, but it has improved since she felt worse.
Moxley is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against Brian Cage on July 8, but the program will be recorded next week. Moxley would need to undergo multiple COVID-19 tests, but there is no guarantee that he may be in the program.
