On Sunday night, the WWE Superstars, the most horrific event of the year, returned to Thunderdom for Hell in a Cell.
Payments per return this year include three matches inside a super-sized cage. The WWE title was one of the belts on the line when Drew McIntyre took Randy Thornton again.
We saw Roman Reigns put the Universal Championship on the line inside the HIAC, when he faced G Uso again in a match from the Clash Champ f Champions.
Bailey placed the SmackDown Women’s Championship against her former best friend and teammate, Sasha Banks.
We also saw Otis save money in a bank deal against Meez, while Jeff Hardy took Elias by the hand.
Let’s take a look at everything that happened in Hell in a Cell.

The late addition to the card was the kickoff match between R-Truth and Drew Gulak for the 24/7 Championship. This condition stated that there could be no outside interference.
Gulk addressed Little Jimmy directly and tried to communicate with him while Satya looked at him with a confused look on his face. Gulk kicked his opponent’s imaginary friend out of the ring and an angry truth landed him on the mat.
After taking a few punches in the corner, Gulak brought the truth down and put it in submission. Champ was pulled out of the Sunset Flip, but Gulak put it back in the submissions to keep it right.
Truth began to make a comeback and used many of John Cena’s signature moves. He failed to hit the AA but hit the lie detector for two counts. Gulak got him on the top rope for the superplex, but Truth reacted and won from the Jacknif cover.

The first few moments of this match were a failed attempt at comedy. Then there was the right rivalry between the two great artists as pigeons as comedic characters.
WWE had many other options for kickoffs but fans have been asking WWE for months to make more sense of the 24/7 title. This was a small step in the right direction.

They looked at each other from around the ring and talked with a little trash. The head of the tribe said they changed just because they had to come and Yuso said he did it for the title. They locked him up and Uso was immediately taken down the shoulder block.
A confident rule hits the fast suplex and speeds around until the ce is back on its feet. The challenger started to build a little momentum and hit a couple of suicidal dives. He had a conversation with Rains when he threw him into the wall of the cage.
When he landed in the ring again, The Big Dog drilled him with a spear. He tried to bring the chair into the ring but soo soo grabbed it with a dropkick. Before he could follow up, Reigs stabbed him with another spear. He tried to hit the third shot but soo soo faced a superkick and superfly splash and hit it.
So Soe grabbed the leather strap from under the ring and used it to whip Reagans on the back. Somehow, the tribal chief got to his feet and hit the third spear. So Soe said he couldn’t breathe, but he denied them. Took the reins of the regime and began unloading on his cousin.
They got strapped together and Yuso started tying the steam head. He strangled Reigns with a belt, but he was unable to say the words “I’m leaving”. Surprisingly, the rulers applied guillotine and expelled Uso. The rulers requested him to leave but JA refused. Paul also requested Heman to give us leave so that this could be stopped.
Tribal Chief pulled Usano to the apron and hit Drive by Dropic. He placed the steel steps next to G’s head and kicked him as hard as he could. Ref wanted to close the match and Reigs threw him out of the ring. Some officers came down and tried to stop him but he stopped them all with him.
After chasing him out of the ring, Raines yelled at his cousin that this was all his fault. He was about to crush Gina’s head off the steps when he ran down Jimmy and walked his way. He called G by his real name Josh, when he requested Rains. Big Dog broke down crying and sat next to his cousins. He then grabbed Jimmy and grabbed his hand and pulled him out.
Jay left to save his brother and finally finished the match. The regime held a high title over him before leaving with Heyman. Afta and Sika were on stage to congratulate Rafa on his victory.

These technical showdowns or exciting venues will never be exchanged. It was all about a story being told between two people in the ring.
Being able to hear every word, they told each other everything felt a lot more personal. He gains weight in an already extreme situation.
A few similar beats were repeated from their previous encounter but the brutality of this strike made it more effective. This is one of the best storylines the WWE has made in 2020 and that’s because So Soo and Raings have made it special.
Is this the best HIAC ever? Was the match No, but that may be the best story told inside the cell. This is what sports entertainment is all about. Physicality was just as important as the story.

Elias released a new song before Hardy went to the ring. Before they start with some basic lockups and a clean break, Elias hits the body on the knee and the hard right hand pulls Hardy off his leg.
They took the fight out of the ring and were able to turn the hardy table. He missed a jump from the steps and crashed into the barricade.
Elias held the upper hand for a moment and came close to winning with a sit-out powerbomb. Hardick hit Whisper in the wind for two counts. He left Elias with a Twist Fate. The singer turned out of the ring to avoid Sventon.
Hardick stopped him from using the guitar as a weapon and turned him over to Elias, disqualifying him in the process.

Hardy and Elias were fighting on a hilltop before Rafi even rang the bell. We will try to be fair when we decide on this turn.
As good as Hardy and Elias are, this didn’t feel like the best they could do. This will give more insight into the raw part episodes, especially when disqualification is met.
This conflict will obviously continue so at least this end will stop the man from eating the pin immediately either way.

As soon as Refe rang the bell, Otis rushed to The Miz in the corner and crushed him. He slammed her up for a quick two count. Tucker and John Morrison watch from the ringside.
Jomo provided a distraction so Miz could hit DDT for another close-up. Morris hit a cheap shot from behind the ref. Miz kicks it in the corner and hits the flying double axle handle.
He locked Otis in the sleeper and almost put him out but the big man fought through it. Meez nailed him to the face with big boots. Dozer began to make a steam head and hit a few of his signature moves.
Rafe grabbed Morrison to use the briefcase as a weapon and he kicked him in the back. While Ref Miz was attending, Tucker nailed Otis from the briefcase. Meez covered it to win the MITB contract.

Without the live crowd, Otis lost what made him a breakout star in 2019. It was over as indicated by the crowd. Without that enthusiasm, he no longer feels like a big star.
Breaking heavy machinery was a mistake and now it is on a different brand. How will they fight after Tucker’s turn until the WWE ignores its own rules?
The match was nothing special and the turn of the heel became clear as Morrison was kicked off the ringside. At least Miz has a contract now. It will be interesting to see if he successfully caches it.
