Like all system requirements, Blizzard notes that system requirements may change over time due to possible changes to the World War II to Craft.

Interestingly, Blizzard specifically says that SSDs need to be able to at least play in Shadowlands, while World of Warcraft players are saying that Shadowlands’ beta runs well without solid state drives. From its appearance, Blizzard is only referring to the use of SSDs for faster loading time. As such, players using older setups without SSD drives will, of course, still be able to play the expansion of the upcoming Shadowlands.

In other news related to Shadowlands – Now that the release date of the extension has been announced by Blizzard this October, we will also know when the pre-patch of Shadowlands will be reduced. Based on information released from Snowfall and previous pre-patches, estimates by Icy Veins, the pre-patch of Shadowlands is likely to be released either on September 9.0.1, September 22 or September 29 with the first possible being.
