After the police picked him up, a father found the lifeless body of his baby boy in the upstairs room and said that his wife had been found dead.
It is said that the father was unaware that his seven-month-old son Henry had died.
The family tragedy identified the mother and pediatric nurse as Nicola Keane (as 34), who took her own life suffering from postnatal depression in recent months.
After her body was found under a bridge at 45.4545 a.m. Thursday, officers went to her home in Lucan, west of Dublin, where she woke her husband to deliver devastating news, the Irish Mirror reported.
Nicola is accused of jumping off an M50 toll bridge. An autopsy revealed that her son had died of asphyxiation.

A source said police were not searching for anyone else involved in the death and the incident was being treated as a family tragedy.
Nicola, who worked at Children’s Health Ireland in the Kremlin, was seen behaving erratically in the pool area around 3.45am on Thursday.
His body was found after he jumped off a bridge, according to an Irish Independent report, and police went to the family’s home at 5 p.m.
The baby’s death was officially classified as “unclear” after his mother underwent an autopsy at a working hospital.
Sources told the newspaper that the circumstances of Henry’s death could not determine the outcome decisively.
The report alleges that Nicola suffered from postpartum depression in recent months.
A source told the Irish Mirror: “This is a terrible, terrible tragedy. Family tragedy. Gardaí is not looking for anyone else. An autopsy on the baby will determine which way the investigation will go. ”
The source said the postmortem on Henry was inconclusive, adding: “Obscurity, but it could be an accident.”

It was investigated that no signs of violence or evidence of violent death were found during the forensic examination of the home.
Neighbors said they were shocked to learn of the tragedy involving the family, saying they always looked happy when the husband and wife took their son into a love affair.
One told the Irish Independent: “She was really friendly and happy. Her little boy was cute. I saw her walk up and down a few days ago.”
Another said: “This is just shocking. I can’t take him inside. I can’t stop thinking about the baby, he was only seven months old.”

It is believed that Nikola moved from Balina to Dublin, where she was a fellow singer, with her partner six years ago.
A friend of Nicola’s in Ballina said the death was “absolutely devastating news”.
Another woman described her as a “kind and thoughtful” person.
The search continues to investigate the deaths.
A Garda spokesman said: “The search for the woman’s body at Garda Lower Road, Strawberry Beds, Lucan, Co Dublin and the circumstances surrounding the untimely death of an infant boy in a building in Lucan Co have been investigated. Dublin, 22 October 2020.
“At 3.45am on October 22, 2020, following reports of a pedestrian working suspiciously on the M50 bridge, Garda found the body of a woman on Strawberry Beds, Lower Road.
“After the incident, Garda went to a house in Lucan where a seven-month-old boy was found in a non-reactive state. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
“An incident room has been set up at Lucan Garda station and a technical inspection of the site has been carried out. The coroner and office fees of the state pathologist have been notified.
The baby’s body has been moved to Kremlin Hospital and the woman’s body has been moved to City Mort where an autopsy will be performed.
The result of the post-mortem examination will determine the course of the GARDA examination.
“At this stage, the investigating guard is treating these incidents as a family tragedy and is not looking for anyone else in the case of death at present.
“No further information is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing. ”
