Wonder Woman Director Patty Jenkins has been very open about how much she loves working with Warner Bros. and DC. Unfortunately, fans have so far been unable to see her return to the DC Extended Universe with Wonder Woman 1984. Now sounds like Wonder woman 3 It has also been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
‘Wonder Woman 1984’ has been perpetually delayed
Wonder Woman 1984 – the 2017 Jenkins movie sequel – sees Diana Prince of Gal Gadot in a completely different era. The film initially released in December 2019 before settling in June 2020. However, that schedule change was just the first of many.
The coronavirus pandemic in early 2020 caused all cinemas to close. Thus, the Jenkins movie was extended until August 2020 and then October 2, 2020. With the public health crisis still to come, many fans are concerned that the release date may be delayed again. And then there is Wonder woman 3.

Director Patty Jenkins is already considering ‘Wonder Woman 3’
With Hollywood productions still largely on hold, it is impossible for the third film’s pre-production to increase yet. Even if Jenkins signed up to lead (he’s not), resources just aren’t in place to move forward right now.
But that has not stopped the director from reflecting on what Wonder woman 3 could be. As he told Total Film magazine (via GamesRadar), Jenkins needs to make sure that the next step in the Diana Prince story feels relevant.
“I’ve really hit the pause button,” said Jenkins. “Because the truth is that where that plot came from was our state of being six months ago. And so I want to make sure that I am fully absorbing whatever the result of this pandemic is. “

When will we learn more about the third ‘Wonder Woman’?
With the world probably dealing with a new normal after the pandemic, Jenkins’ strategy is sound. Wonder Woman’s journey should reflect the changing world around her. Therefore, it stands to reason that Jenkins adopts a similar attitude when approaching the next movie.
The director previously revealed that he has a four-movie plan for Wonder Woman. And he told Total Film that he hopes to make his Amazon spin-off movie sooner. Wonder woman 3. Again, Jenkins has yet to officially sign off on any of the projects, as he emphasized.
Also, the public shouldn’t expect the pandemic to be written directly in Wonder Woman’s next adventure. But Jenkins “wants to make sure he’s influenced by all of this.” Coming from the filmmaker who brought the compassionate Diana Prince to the big screen, we would not expect less.
