Woman had pistols in a diaper bag at Walt Disney World

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Georgia woman was arrested at Walt Disney World after Florida resort security found two pistols and some marijuana in her son’s diaper bag, according to court documents.

Yunique Smith, 27, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was arrested July 18 for misdemeanors of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

Smith was passing the Epcot security line with an adult man, his 7-month-old daughter and 7-year-old son when the guard saw a 9mm pistol and a plastic bag containing marijuana, according to an arrest report.

Orange County deputies responded. A search of the diaper bag revealed a .45 caliber pistol at the bottom, officers said.

Park rules state that guns are not allowed on Disney property.

The arrest occurred three days after Epcot reopened after a nearly four-month shutdown. The complex closed in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Court records did not list an attorney for Smith.
