System A F a Down has released new music for the first time in just 15 years, both very emotional, but the song ‘Protect the Land’ certainly stands in tribute to the Armenians who defended their homeland from the current Azeri-Turkish invasion.
The band explains that the two newly released songs, created to release the other ‘Genocidal Humanoid Eids’, are “a fierce and serious war going on between our artisanship and the cultural homeland of Armenia.”
The Turkish-sponsored invasion of Arteshek by the Azerbaijani army and Syrian mercenaries began on 27 September. The war has led to serious human rights violations against Armenians by Turkish-sponsored invaders, including beheadings, cutting off ears and noses. Execution of the elderly and disabled.
Despite the superior manpower, military budget and technology of the Turkish-sponsored invaders, the Armenians have continued to resist the invaders and defend their land.
To pay tribute to this battle of David and Goliath, System of Down has given a very emotional tribute to those who fought to defend Artasakh.
