Swift recently made several reports about the pandemic because mandatory lockdowns and quarantines were in place.
In mid-March, Rolling Stone shared what Swift wrote in an Instagram story.
“I love you so much and need to express my concern that things are not being taken seriously enough at the moment,” she wrote.
‘I see a lot of meetings and hangouts and parties that are still happening. This is the time to cancel plans, actually really isolate as much as you can and not accept that because you do not feel sick that you might not pass something on to someone older or vulnerable to this. “
“It’s a very scary time, but we have to make sacrifices right now,” she added.
A few weeks later, Swift joined Dolly Parton and other celebrities to donate to the fight against COVID-19. Between free concerts and charity events, many like Swift and Parton put their money where their mouths are.
Swift donated an undisclosed amount to Nashville’s record store, Grimleys, to help her through difficult financial times. She also pays three months health insurance for employees to show their support.
And, if that’s not enough, the musician wrote a song Folklore dedicated to the workers of the frontline. In lyrics “Epiphany,” Swift brings homage in a meaningful way.
“Something with school has no cover / One daughter, mother of someone / Holds your hand through plastic now,” Swift sings in the second verse. “Doc, I think she’s out / And some things you just can not talk about.”
In connection with the song, Swift also thanks a Utah fan, Whitney Hilton, who works as a nurse, according to Fox News. Hilton, who received a box full of gifts, traveled to New York City to help those infected with COVID-19.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! I wanted to send you some gifts and let you know that I’m so grateful to you,” Swift wrote to Hilton, according to Fox. “I can not thank you enough for risking your life to help people and for spreading the message that people need to hear, take it seriously. “
How much money will Swift lose?

With the world in a different way of being, Swift had to make the painful decision that many artists have to make these days to cancel all upcoming shows. In Swift’s case, which included the sold-out two-day event in Los Angeles, Lover Fest, and all other events she had planned.
“I’m so sad I can not see your boys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision,” Swift tweeted. ‘Please stay healthy and safe. I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can, but right now what’s important to do about this quarantine is, ‘for the sake of us all.’
Most locations had already been canceled in advance. Swift aims to take things back in 2021 and refunds were offered to those who want them.
Although Swift had not announced a stadium tour before Folklore however, their previous tour for Reputation gross $ 345.7 million, “including $ 30.5 million in their last five shows,” according to a 2018 Billboard report.
That said, it’s unclear exactly how many millions Swift will lose because of the pandemic, but it’s probably a lot. With the loss of her previous albums in a nasty battle with Scooter Baun, the immediate success of Folklore has perhaps saved her. We’re sure she’s going to find a way [more than] make up for it. In other words, she’s doing OK in 2020, despite losing money.
