In 2016, he shared in the Jimmy Kimmel Show about a time when he found himself in a crisis and had to ask a fan to save him, according to the NY Daily News.
Smith hilariously shared with Kimmel that once, he was already driving about 30 minutes from home when his gas tank ran empty. He realized that he had left his wallet at home and did not know what to do. He was reluctant to call his wife to drive all the way with his wallet, but luckily, someone else was nearby to help him.
“I looked the other way and I saw a guy … He was 36 years old and I said, ‘That guy is a Fresh Prince fan.’ You can see them! Smith shared, continuing,” So I lowered the window a bit and after a couple of minutes, he said, ‘Will?’ “
It turns out that Smith was right, and the man was a great admirer of Fresh prince. After taking a photo with the fan, Smith timidly decided to ask him for some cash so he could get gas. Even though Smith tried to ask for the fan’s contact information in order to get back the $ 10 he borrowed, the fan was unaware.
