Will Fuller of Texans, Bradley Robbie suspends 6 games for PED violation Bleacher Report

Houston Texans wide receivers Will Fuller V and Cornback Bradley Robbie have each been suspended for six games for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy.

Fuller announced on his Instagram page on Monday that he was suspended after accepting that the drug he was prescribed was prescribed.

He wrote the following message:

“Earlier this year, I sought treatment from a medical professional who prescribed a drug that is approved under the NFL.O Drug policy. As it turns out, my confidence in this professional was lost because this drug is not a permitted substance under the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

“As a result of this mistake, I have been suspended for six games for taking this banned drug. I sincerely apologize to the Texans organization and all my fans for this mistake. I look forward to putting all these things behind me and Good

“Thank you, Will.”

Robbie also released a statement on social media, revealing that he had “inadvertently used a product that was contaminated with a substance prohibited by the NFL”:

With just five games left in Houston, this means that Notre Dame and Ohio State products will be sidelined until the 2021 campaign.

Fuller appeared in his team’s first 11 contests and made 53 catches for 879 yards and eight touchdowns. He was in the middle of a breakout campaign and was on track for the first 1,000-yard season of his career before this suspension.

The 26-year-old was Houston’s leading receiver this season and is now on target on the roster with Dendre Hopkins. He just turned heads on Thanksgiving with six catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns during one win. Detroit Lions.

After suspending Fuller, look to Brandin Cooks for the rest of the season to make Deshaun Watson’s top option. He has 719 yards and 52 catches for three touchdowns.

As for Robbie, he has 37 tackles, seven passes saved and one interception in 10 games and is often tasked with defending the opponent’s top pass-catchers.

The Texans are 4-7 on the year, but they have won three of their last four games and bounced some after sacking head coach Bill O’Brien.

They face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, but maintaining their current pace will be a more difficult task without Fuller and Robbie on the field.
