There’s no way around it, the Boston Celtics aren’t good right now.
Boston stayed in its brutal hut on Wednesday with a loss of 127-112, to stop the Atlanta Hucks on a winless three-game road trip.
It’s rough. Yes, the team is facing injuries and has been tampered with by COVID-19, but fans have been scratching their heads at the recent drag and asking, ‘What’s going on?’
The majority owner of the Celtics, Vic, Grossback, admitted to making “a few complaints in private” about his team during the appearance of .598..5 and Sports Hub’s “Feller and Maze,” and believes he knows what the problem is.
“I think it’s uneven,” Grossbeck said. “I think we’ve got things we can get… but I think it’s uneven. Some games during games, or some moments, we feel surprised. And that’s a strong word, but there are good times when you can see a lot of potential in this team. But then there are periods when you lose a 24-point lead and lose the game. I think he’s getting better and thinking he’s not doing what I want him to do. ”
Uneven is a good way to put it.
The Celtics still have time to get back on track, but they don’t have all the time in the world. The sooner they figure it out the better.
