Starting from the beginning, Klaus and Ben land in 1960. Klaus quickly fails to become the leader of the Destiny’s Children cult. But after years of being adored, he returns to Dallas, with Ben by his side. Meanwhile, Allison has spent the past two years working in a beauty salon and joining the civil rights movement, where she meets her husband, Raymond Chestnut.

Luther has been in Dallas for a year, working as a naked boxer to the aid of his nightclub owner boss, for whom he also acts as a bodyguard. Luther landed in September 1963 and vowed to say he wants to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy in November. Vanya, who landed in October, is hit by a car and, with no memory, is going to live with the woman who hit her, Sissy, Sissy’s husband, Carl, and their son, Harlan.

Between five. When the nuclear bombs start falling, Hazel takes him back 10 days. Now, Five has to reunite each of her brothers and reunite them to save the world. This is, of course, where things get complicated. Furthermore, there are three silent Swedish assassins behind them. And knowing the fate of the Hargreeves, there will surely be surprises in store.

Although it takes a few episodes, eventually they all come together. They can even have a good time with a young Reginald Hargreeves, who is suspiciously in Dallas at the same time. Talk about an awkward family reunion. But then again, there’s no other guy when it comes to The umbrella academy.

There are also many new characters. In addition to the Swedes and their lack of dialogue, Diego’s patient in the mental institution, Lila, is on the way. Raymond and Allison’s happiness is largely interrupted by the presence of their siblings, specifically Luther. Vanya and Sissy may be too close for Carl’s comfort. Then there is Elliott, the conspiracy theorist who has been documenting the arrival of every Hargreeves brother.

If that’s a lot to keep up with, be careful because it’s just the beginning. Get ready for unique couples, energetic fight scenes, and a surprising amount of fart jokes. Every move the Hargreeves make brings them closer to the inevitable doomsday. If they can figure out who is causing it without altering the timeline, perhaps they can fix their present and return unscathed. But that’s a lot of “yes” and “maybes”.

Season 2 brings back everything fans loved about the first season, and more, giving characters a chance to grow up in a challenging new environment. Sometimes it almost seems like there is too Much to explore: Allison, as a civil rights activist in particular, could draw more attention, along with her timely message on police brutality.

Other heavy series on time travel have been described as puzzles, with everything needed to make sense as a whole. But The umbrella academy Season 2 is more like an elaborate musical number, given how much fans love it when characters dance. Each captivating move is excellent on its own, but what makes it so compelling is how it fits perfectly into the broader performance.
