Why Kate Middleton Reportedly Cannot Bear Meghan Markle’s Comparisons

Being real definitely has its benefits, but it also has its drawbacks. Older family members are constantly in the limelight, whether they want it or not, and there are definitely times when fans and the media can be overly critical.

In fact, it almost seems like most of the criticism given to royalty is not fair, as we all know, everyone has an opinion. Constant media attention is difficult enough for those like Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and to increase the pressure they constantly have to face to be compared to each other.

Many times, people tend to forget that duchesses lead very different lives and that being married to siblings does not mean they have to dress the same, enjoy the same things, or even interact with each other on a regular basis. Here’s why Kate reportedly can’t bear Meghan’s comparisons.

When Kate grew up, she most likely never dreamed that she would one day be a future queen. The duchess has a typical family of five, and she led a fairly quiet and typical life before going to college and meeting Prince William, whom she eventually married.

Although many people would have the impression that falling in love with a prince is a fairy tale come true, there were definitely some obstacles along the way for Kate and Prince William. The couple briefly parted ways in 2007, and Kate was in the spotlight, experiencing a whole new side of life that she was unfamiliar with.

According to Marie Claire, her style also had to change. There was a time when Kate could dress how she wanted, wearing everything from jeans to short skirts. Once she became the Duchess of Cambridge, she was forced to abide by royal style rules at all times, as she is one of the most closely watched women in the world.

Meghan was already quite alive before entering into a relationship with Prince Harry. Growing up in Los Angeles, California, she knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue an acting life, and she worked hard to achieve her goals.

Meghan’s big break came when she landed the role of Rachel Zane in the legal drama, Suits, and his career took off from there. Today reports that she is also passionate about feminism and charity work, something that has continued even after her marriage.

Meghan’s life, however, has been drastically different from that of her sister-in-law, while Kate is still a senior working royalty, Meghan and Harry stepped back from real life and now live a quiet life in Los Angeles with their little son Archie.

While it’s natural for fans around the world to tend to make comparisons between Meghan and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge apparently can’t bear when it happens. Why is this Well, for starters, the two women have been greatly affected by the rumors of a dispute, which are not necessarily true.

Still, the Daily Mail reports that Kate feels that all the comparisons are a way to make it appear that the media is using her to despise Meghan. She doesn’t like it one bit, and with good reason. According to the Daily Mail: “Duncan Larcombe, a former royal editor, told New magazine, via OK!, That Kate was particularly upset about the article because she is ‘very interested’ in stopping comparisons between her and her sister. law.”

It is totally natural not to want constant comparisons and facing the two duchesses is sexist.
