Richardson-Sellers was born and raised in England to a family of experienced theater actors. She graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Archeology and Anthropology. While at Oxford, she starred in numerous college stage productions.

After college, Richardson-Sellers began pursuing an acting career and began auditioning for various movies and series. In 2015, he landed his first major role as Korr Sella in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

“He is very smart, he has traveled the world and speaks five languages, he has lived everywhere, he is studying at Harvard,” said Richardson-Sellers. “It’s also very important to see people of color in those kinds of positions because we don’t usually see those roles go to people of color.” That also excited me about the project. ”
