This Friday (Aug. 21) has quite a bit to do with the lineup of pop star headline releases. So for which are you most hyped?
BTS hopes to open the weekend with a bang after releasing their English single “Dynamite”, which is already scheduled, will make its television debut during BTS ‘performance at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday 30 August. Meanwhile, Iggy Azalea and Tinashe double-clicked for their second collaboration “DLNW.” The two paired first for a remix of Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck” hit back in 2015.
“So soooo excited about this! All hands on deck rmx is one of my favorite moments!” the “Fancy” rapper posted last week on Instagram with the official cover art. “So yeah – I’m crazy excited for a round 2 & insanely grateful that you’re part of this record @tinashenow we made another one for the books.”
Charlie Puth will also perform an original solo credit song “Free”, written by 11-time Oscar-nominated songwriter Diane Warren, for Disney’s new film The One and Only Ivan. It will premiere Friday at Disney +, the same date that the official soundtrack is available.
But JoJo will deliver the 16-track edition of them Good to know next Friday, August 28th, with five brand new songs, the highly anticipated remix of “Lonely Hearts” with Demi Lovato, and a “Love Reggae” column with Tinashe.
“The silver lining of my quarantine was able to work and record these new records. It also gave me the opportunity to work with Demi Lovato and Tinashe,” JoJo said in a press release. “Both women are talented, smart, fearful, brave and beautiful. Really happy that they jumped on these songs and took them to another level.”
