Where are the remaining COVID-19 vaccines in San Diego County? – NBC 7 San Diego

While the supply of the COVID-19 vaccine is imminent in San Diego County, occasional schedule issues, missed appointments, and other factors keep a number of doses available at some vaccination sites.

NBC7 will provide updates about the latest surplus appointments here. This story will be updated when the latest information becomes available. Keep checking back for details.

Vaccines available:

16 Feb.: Sharp Healthcare has opened appointment appointment slots at its county vaccination stations. Appointments are available for San Diego County residents 65 and older and health care workers. Locations include: Grossmont Center Vaccination Super Station, Chula Vista Vaccination Super Station and a community site at Coronado. Find out the hours and availability of each location here.

15 February: San Diego Fire-Rescue says two visits to their vaccination sites are available this week. Those 65 and older can list appointments through the SDFD portal from Tuesday to Thursday. On Tuesday, the SDFDA said that if they still have availability, they could extend the visits until Friday.

When you finally get your COVID-19 vaccine, you may be tempted to celebrate by posting a photo of your vaccine card on social media. Resist that urge. LX host Nick Z spoke to Sandra Goyle of the International Association Better Business Bureau about how this can make you vulnerable to identity theft and other scams.
