Leicester City’s clash with Manchester United on Sunday promises to be the game of the day with both clubs chasing that important finish in the top four and qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
United only need one point to secure their place, while the Foxes require a victory to be sure, although both sides could live up to those goals and still qualify if Chelsea lose to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
This match produced one of the all-time iconic Premier League results when Leicester scored four goals in 21 minutes to go 3-1 by defeating Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United 5-3 in September 2014.
We’ve taken a look at where the 14 players who showed up for United in that memorable match are today.
David De Gea
The Spaniard remains United’s No. 1 and has starred in Old Trafford for nearly a decade, but there are questions about his form and he’s under pressure from Dean Henderson.
Rafael da Silva
This was one of 11 appearances the Brazilian made with Van Gaal before being sold to Lyon in the summer of 2015 and replaced by Matteo Darmian. She is still at the French club, where she has made 138 appearances.
Jonny Evans
Another defender whose United career was ended by Van Gaal, Evans joined West Brom in the summer of 2015 and moved to Leicester three years later. He is now an important part of Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Tyler Blackett
Blackett made a series of appearances for United in the early days of Van Gaal’s tenure due to an injury crisis.
An U21 international from England, he was then loaned to Celtic and joined Reading permanently in 2016, recording 116 first-team appearances.
Red frames
The Argentine had joined United the previous month from Sporting CP and he liked Van Gaal a lot, but has since fallen out of favor.
Rojo has made only 27 appearances in the past three seasons and was recently loaned to Estudiantes. He has a lot of tips for a permanent outing this summer.
Daley Blind
Another arrival for Van Gaal after having starred in the 2014 World Cup with the Dutchman, Blind returned to Ajax youth club in 2018 after four seasons at Old Trafford.
Ander Herrera
The Spanish arrived at Old Trafford the previous summer, and the agreement to sign it was agreed upon before Van Gaal took over.
Herrera scored United’s third place in this match, one of 20 goals in five seasons at the club, before joining Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer last summer.
Angel Di Maria
Di Maria was another 2014 arrival and, like Herrera, is now at Paris Saint-Germain. His career at United started brilliantly and he took a delightful second place in this game, but his form quickly fell off a cliff as he struggled to adapt to Van Gaal’s rigid attack system.
The Argentine international joined the Parisians the following year and remains a star in the French capital.

Wayne Rooney
The former United and England captain is now in Derby County having enjoyed spells at Everton and DC United since leaving Old Trafford in 2017.
Radamel Falcao
The Colombian striker was another 2014 arrival that came with a great reputation but never had a significant impact on United.
The saving grace was that his deal was just a loan deal, as he scored just four goals for the club. Falcao had an equally harsh spell at Chelsea before re-forming in Monaco. Now he is with the Turkish club Galatasaray.
Robin van persie
Another United striker from that day that ended in Istanbul, Van Persie had a hard time replicating the way he shot United to its last Premier League title in 2013.
The Dutchman found the net against Leicester, but left the following summer for Fenerbahce after fighting Van Gaal. Van Persie retired in 2019 and now appears occasionally as a BT Sport expert.

SUBSTITUTES
Chris Smalling
Central defender Smalling is six months away from a testimony at Old Trafford, but is unlikely to receive it after an impressive one-season loan in Rome.
United could sell English permanently this summer, although Rome has not yet reached an agreement to get it permanently.
Adnan Januzaj
Januzaj never reached his starting potential at United, but he is now an important player for Real Sociedad, whom he helped qualify for the Europa League this season with seven goals in 29 appearances.
Juan kill
The Spanish remains at Old Trafford after signing a two-year contract last summer, although he is now a peripheral player at the club. In 2017, he began his commitment-based charitable movement, Common Goal.
