What did Pauly DelVecchio do between ‘Jersey Shore’ and ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’?


In 2009, MTV made eight strangers best friends when they were housed in a seaside house in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, over the summer. Now Pauly DelVecchio has become a household name.

When the original Jersey Shore Completed in 2012, many fans were wondering what the now famous guidos would do with their time. This is what DelVecchio did between filming the original series and the 2018 spin-off, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Pauly D became a world famous DJ

In 2011, it was the opening act of Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour and she auditioned to become the resident DJ at Las Vegas clubs like Rain, Moon and Palms Pool & Bungalow. Since then, DelVecchio has had residencies at many large nightclubs across the country, including The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City and Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas.

DJ Pauly D collaborated with some of the biggest names in music.

2012 was a great year for DelVecchio. He signed a three album deal with G-Unit Powerhouse and worked on one album with 50 Cent. At the time, DelVecchio told The Hollywood Reporter that he was excited because “music is where [his] the heart is in. “DelVecchio worked with 50 Cent on a compilation album and on some production projects.

DelVecchio also collaborated with various other artists throughout his career, including James Kaye, Jay Sean, and Dash.

Pauly D got a spin-off series

Due to his bubbly personality, DelVecchio was one of the first Jersey Shore roommates to land a derivative show. The Pauly D project documented DelVecchio’s DJ activities, including his audition to become a resident DJ at Casino Palms.

The DelVecchio-derived series only lasted one season, aired in March 2012 and ended in June of the same year.

Pauly welcomed a girl to the world

In May 2013, DelVecchio’s daughter Amabella Sophia Markert was born. DelVecchio has a friendly relationship with Amabella’s mother, Amanda Markert, with whom she had an overnight affair.

Today, Amabella lives with Markert in New Jersey, according to her Instagram. Still, DelVecchio is proud to be Amabella’s father. “She’s a mini me, I already have her on the plates,” Delvecchio told Live With Kelly and Ryan in April 2019. “I look at her and see myself.” She is also a prank war champion!

Pauly was at ‘Marriage Boot Camp’

In 2015 DelVecchio met Danity singer Kane Aubrey O’Day while filming E’s Famous Single. They were a couple from February 2016 to July 2017. At the end of 2017, they appeared in season 11 of Boot Camp of marriage: reality stars.

According to O’Day, “there was no healthy dialogue” in her relationship with DelVecchio (via Us Weekly). “There was no progressive communication. There were rules and the rules had to be followed and when they were not, they punished you. ” Many of those problems were brought to light Boot Camp of marriage.

In 2018, the original roommates returned to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. DelVecchio remains part of the cast and continues to do spin-off series for MTV, including Double shot to love and Revenge prank.
