Reacting to what has happened in sports on Sunday afternoon of week 14 and behaving beyond that …
Things that make me giddy
Jelan Hurts completes it: It wasn’t pretty, but for a developmental QB thrown into the fire for a passive team against select defense, Hertz hit his peak heavily on Sunday. His foot was a big factor in the read-option game, not only scoring two big runs but also creating opportunities for Miles Sanders. The passing crime was rocking once again. With Shlshan Jeffrey throwing a wonderful back-shoulder for TD, Hertz, while securing a three-point lead, threw what should have been a catastrophic pick-six in the end and inside pass (CJ Gardner-Johnson dropped it). While Philly was trying to run the clock down, giving the Saints new life, he also flinched in midfield. But overall, it felt like the team that marked the first time in a week of functional offenses.
Josh Sweat Saves Christmas: The Eagles ’talented but always effective edge rusher had two huge sacks in the fourth quarter, resulting in a turnover of the first strap-bag, which would help the injured and overmash take the burden off the secondary.
The NFC Playoffs are run by Lambeau: The Packers and Saints are bound, and Green Bay have a tiebreaker based on their head-to-head wins in New Orleans. It stands now, the Packers will get a conference loan loan.
Mahoms rope-a-dope: He has two interceptions and took two sacks – one of them for a 30-yard loss! In the first quarter, the Chiefs were down 10-0 in Miami early in the second quarter. Mahoms responded by putting up 21 points in less than 10 minutes (it was an overall 30 unanswered points for the Chief, but nine came from special teams and defense and Mahoms doesn’t get the credit for that charity).
Cliff Ons Vance Joseph A Coke: Arizona put all their tokens on the offensive side of the ball, just to see that unit struggle during the second-half drop. Meanwhile, Joseph’s unit lost their best player in Chandler Jones, but he has been pushing for the cards. On Sunday, the Cardinals recorded a 159-yard offense to the Giants and recorded eight sacks in an impressive performance.
Hesson Reddick eats Andrew Thomas: The past slow-starting first-rounder had a way with the current slow-starting first-rounder. Chandler Jones went down after Reddick had a mini-breakout in Arizona and on Sunday he lit Thomas for two sacks, including two franchise-record stripes in East Rutherford.
Chase Young does what he wants: The highlight was the scoop-and-score at the end of the first half, but Young made a ton of one-handed impressive plays against the 49ers. He snatched Jeff Wilson from the back to push the second turnover, got a sack and was usually in complete ruin. The gap between him and the defensive rookie of the year field is enormous.
TY Hilton Awake: A week after the Texans were burned – which he usually does on a half-yearly basis – Hilton went to Vegas for three catches, 65 yards and two TDs in the first half.
At the bottom of the box comes a fall: They played great. This was not a bad Tampa performance. But rarely can you control your opponent’s clock for about 40 minutes, just to miss three field goals and PAT and send a number of fractures, unforced penalties.
Michelle Trubisky Deshen Watson shows how it happened: Lesson one: Don’t be on a team that trades your all-world receiver for pennies on the dollar. But in all seriousness, for the rest of his life, Trubisky will get tantrums and barbs anytime, within a 1,000-mile radius of Patrick Mahoms or Deshaun Watson. As he plays the string on his bear career, he was delighted to see one of the people give him a head-to-head match. That Texans defense doesn’t present much of a challenge, but Trubiski was nonetheless sharp: 24-for–., 267 yards, 3 TD, 0 turnover.
Jonathan Taylor runs wild: He stayed in and out of the doghouse this season, but the Colts Rookie cut 150 yards and two TDs, including 62 yards from a garden in Vegas.
Kenny Moore plays: One of the league’s most underrated players, part of one of the league’s most underrated units, a huge red-zone hurdle as well as the Colts’ victory in Vegas.
Jelan Rieger, content: It has been a desperate struggle for a first-round receiver, but Rigor gave the Eagles some big plays in discomfort over New Orleans (39-yard catches and 19-yard runs). He and Hurt missed the connection to another big play.
Drew Lock. Better: Placement is still an issue, but on the day when its receivers were blowing defensive backs, Locke finally started delivering the Broncos winning ball to the right places in Carolina.
Derrick Henry Re Order Installed Order: After a nightmare afternoon against the Browns last week, Henry took full advantage of a get-right opportunity at Jacksonville: 26 carry, 215 yards, 2 TD.
This Chargers Win it late ?: Ah, against the Falcons, it makes more sense. The Chargers took a break when Michael Davis picked up Matt Ryan late at night in a 17-17 game. Justin Herbert moved them into the field-goal range, and in return for the strategy of their special teams units they sent exactly 11 players to the field, snapped them, caught them and kicked them between apparatuses.
Revenge is the Dish Best Serving Brandon Allen starters on someone’s quarterback: For those who look at history, Andy Dalton has truly surpassed Joe Burroughs for most QB wins in Cincinnati since early 2019 (two to three of the burrows). East Bengal had an easy defensive touchdown and a flawless Sin City offense – a simple thank you for just 25 dropbacks to the Red Rocket.

Sorry
Pobody’s imperfections, also Tessum Hill: For the first time in Philadelphia he had to deal with a multi-score deficit, and when things got interesting he made some crucial mistakes in the fourth quarter – chaos failed to experience the heat and lost strip-sack in third place. And short, and a 58-yard field-goal effort to dismiss the oncoming inning to push (which missed) would have made it a one-possession game instead of within 50. Overall, Hill struggled until the Eagles suffered a bout of secondary injuries. Sean Payton fell 8-1 without Drew Breeze in the last two seasons.
Fumbilitis redox in East Rutherford: The game did not have multiple turnovers during the Giants’ four-game winning streak and she has collapsed just one of the last five games. They lost two in the first half, and both contain huge swings of field-position. On the second and -10 on the opening drive, Daniel Jones was stripped of the bar at the age of 50 and returned to the Giants 9. And after allowing a goal in the middle of the second quarter, Dion Lewis silenced the next kickoff. The Cardinals later scored four plays. For good measure, Colt McCoy, the final offensive image of the game, was stripped off the bar.
Abracadaniel did not have: He wasn’t moving well, and his internal clock issues came back heavily against Arizona – he took six sacks on 27 dropbacks, threw for 127 yards and didn’t try to run a single one. He will still have a chance to play in this team in the postseason, but Sunday was a disappointment.
Dan Bailey: Bailey, one of Altime’s most trusted kickers in his prime, is, unfortunately, falling apart. A week after missing two extra points and a field goal, the Vikings were forced to overtime with Jacksonville, leaving Bailey 10 points on the field in Tampa 0-for-4 (one PAT and FG effort, 36, 46 and 54 effort). . Decisive game.
Chargers Clock Management (again): With less than 20 seconds left and no timeout, they also got overwhelmed trying to run first on the third and 1st. They could not spike it and get a field-goal unit on the field in time before the half was completed.
Russell Wilson takes off fourth quarter: With Seahawks Stick 37-3–3 lead on the edge of the offensive blast against the Jets team. Does Rush have a work ethic problem? Sounds like a good topic for one of the cable debate shows of the day.

Moments we will tell about our grandkids
AJ Brown with 2 x 1 – 1 arm: Fly-flicker off too!
Interrupt a Hail Mary Pass: I am indisputable. This is a 46-yard penalty on the final game of the half, so this flag gives the books essentially three points. The state of the game indicates that you do not call it. Also, Todd Davis plays this as weakly as you can possibly play it – what in the world is he doing?
Yes! Kenny Moore thinks he is a comprehensive receiver:

What we’ll talk about this week
Chief Vs. The field as a Super Bowl champ is also money: As a result of Mahoms’ poor performance over the course of a few months, the -4–4 opponent won a relatively comfortable route.
Do not pull the plug on the Eagles: Anxiety over the New Leeds pulls a four-game losing streak and moves them to Washington-Washington’s Game-Do, which they host in Week 17.
Will Dwayne Heskins save this football team from crime ?: I mean the league has won four straight with the highest concentrated crime seen over the years, so the question may be: do they want this crime to be saved? Against 49 players on Sunday, they have 13 points thanks to a 29-yard drive for field goals, a 13-yard drive for field goals, and a scoop-and-score through defense. Huskins led the way to a 73-yard drive for three more points early in the second half, trailing injured Alex Smith, the last of nine offenses to be held for yet another unlikely win.
Cardinals take the seventh seed again: Arizona again has a game lead over Vikings and Bears. And as they beat the Giants, this underwelle playoff race could once again see its nose in the NFC East race.
What does Textance do now ?: In anticipation of this, Calculus Nicker saw his Chicago team start the bench quarterback in a knockout on Sunday and saw their franchise lose to Pulp in the quarterback process.
