Warner Bros. Games Montreal debuted with their new game set in the world of Batman, Gotham Knights, today at DC Comics’ FanDome, and the developers brought nearly eight minutes of footage for gameplay for fans to see.
The open world game is set within Gotham City. In the gameplay footage, Batgirl and Robin look together at classic Batman villain Mr. This is just one of several villainous confrontations where the vigilantes-turned-heroes will happen upon in the game, according to Warner Bros. Games Montreal’s description of the game. Both Robin and Batgirl will “use a variety of abilities, weapons, and unique combat weapons to neutralize their enemies,” the description reads.
Warner Bros. Games Montreal has experience with Batman games, picking the Arkham series that was started by Rocksteady Studio in 2013 with Arkham Origins. WB Games Montreal has posted Gotham Knights for more than a year, but have not revealed the name to this day. Rocksteady will also continue with another DC project, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. More information about that game is set to debut on FanDome today.
Gotham Knights will be released in 2021.
