The annual Gamescom convention kicks off Thursday with Opening Night Live, a livestream that promises trailers and new world premiere announcements. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, Gamescom Opening Night Live begins Thursday, August 27 at 2pm EDT / 11am PDT.
The streaming of Opening Night Live, which lasts about two hours, will feature content from 18 publishers and developers. Certified publishers include 2K, Activision, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Blizzard Entertainment, Bungie, Electronic Arts, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Warner Bros. Games, and Xbox Game Studios. New looking Ratchet & Clank: Rift apart, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Fall Guys, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Medal of Honor: above and beyond, en Doom Ivich were promised.
Ahead of the main show, a 30-minute pre-show will have additional world premieres, organizers said. That starts at 13:30 a.m. EDT / 10:30 a.m. PDT.

The Gamescom Convention annually attracts more than 350,000 participants to Cologne, Germany. This year’s show was scheduled for August 25-29, but the physical event was canceled in April due to health concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic. Organizers keep Gamescom 2020 digital.
