Walt Disney World begins reimbursing annual pass holders after monthly payment processing error

Yesterday, Walt Disney World Resort annual pass holders who were on the monthly payment plan were charged four months of one-time payments. That afternoon, Disney issued a statement that the error was due to a “computer error” and that the refunds would begin to be “actively processed.”

In consultation with our WDWNT employees, it appears that refunds have started to process today, allowing everyone a sigh of relief.

However, this does not appear to have happened for everyone and for some of the staff members, even payments were taken out of their accounts today rather than yesterday.

The landing site for annual pass holders still includes the following information on the options for pass holders in the monthly payment plan:

We also observed many Guests lined up outside the Welcome Guest Relations Center today during a trip to Disney Springs, noting that they were turned away while Guests were being told that nothing could be done there.

We will continue to update this post with more information as it comes out. Annual pass holders needing assistance should contact VIPASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277.
