Vybz Kartel shoots fresh shots on alkaline in Cardi B’s “WAP” Freestyle, Cardi responds

Vybz Kartel shoots some fresh shots at regular target Alkaline in a “WAP” freestyle on IG, and Cardi B responds.

It’s only been a few days since the release of the girls’ national anthem “WAP” by Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B. However, Vybz Kartel has already formulated an equally raunchy and provocative remix. Di Teacha pleaded the release of the new track on his Instagram page in the early hours of Saturday, asking his Gazanation if he “should DROP IT? OR STOP IT?”

The answer in the comments section was a resounding yes, with even the female hitmaker Cardi B commenting on the short example he shared. “OMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGG I WANT IT NOOOOOOOOWWWW !!!! to hear!” required Cardi B in the comments. The teacher obliged to comment “ok Mami,” and delivered the 1 minute 30 second “WAP” freemix in his follow-up post.

It seems that Vybz Kartel is sending his most graphic of thoughts to his fingers to make the lyrics to the bouncy hip hop track. With sentences and girls ranging from brainwashing, to head girls with millions, Vybz Kartel finds creative ways to show that he can be as annoying as the female duo. In fact, Vybz Kartel is one of the pioneers when it comes to providing a raw, unpolished and unrefined representation of sexual desires and conquest.

While Vybz spends most of his time tackling his females, he still finds a way to take a whip at his archnemese Alkaline.

He raps, “No Brawta, no matter what No Daughta.” The line refers directly to a word normally associated with Alkaline’s song “Touch You.” In the 2014 issue, the controversial Vendetta boss deejayed, “Good suck, ba__y wash, what a brawta.” The line has since marked a flurry over Alkaline’s career and has been used as ammunition in his steals against Popcaan and Squash.

No wonder Squash jumped in the comments section below Vybz Kartel’s post to joke about taking Kartel off the line. “No brata,” he responded.

Other remarks under the Cartel’s post include Popcaan who said, “ya mad man enuh humbre;” Busta Rhymes praised Worl’boss’ creativity by stating “MAAAAAAAAAAAAD !!!!!!!!”

Many fans soon called for an official remix or collaboration with Vybz Kartel and Cardi B, as the Teacha and Megan Thee Stallion. Such a sweet treat would not be too much to pick out, as both Megan and Cardi are big fans of dancehall. Cardi bumps regularly and vibes to the tracks of Vybz Kartel. Meanwhile, Megan Dexta mentioned Daps ‘Bring It To The Owner’ as one of her favorite songs.

While Cardi indeed appreciates the love of the Jamaican dancehall king, it is clear that she is currently winning and coming back with a bang. According to Apple’s virtual assistant Siri, “WAP” is currently the number one song in the world. You can take a look at one of Cardi’s latest tweets to see the result.

The music video for the song featured the likes of Kylie Jenner, Normani, Mulatto, Sukihana, and Rubi Rose.
