Visitors to Walt Disney World Park are asked not to walk without masks while eating or drinking

Looking to enjoy a Dole Whip while strolling through Adventureland? Or snack on a Mickey ice cream bar as you walk to your favorite attraction? Well, you may need to start including a break in your park routine if you plan on enjoying those drinks or snacks on the go.

According to several reporters we’ve had today at the Walt Disney World theme parks, guests are asked to stop and remain motionless, standing off to the side, while consuming drinks and snacks. As you move throughout the park, the masks must remain lit.

We took a moment to stop and ask an EPCOT cast member about the new rule, they informed us: “Guests are now asked to find a safe place six feet from other guests before removing their eating masks and to drink”.

Please note that face masks are strictly enforced and guests not wearing the required face mask will be asked to put on or leave. If you need to rest from the mask, remember that there are “relaxation stations” at every Walt Disney World theme park. Once inside these stations, guests can remove the cover from their faces and sit socially at a distance.

Of course, follow us on WDWNT as we continue to cover the stage reopens of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
