HanoiNguyen Van Duc, 24, hired someone to kidnap his girlfriend and pretend to withhold 500 million VND to rescue the victim so that the victim would touch his love.
On March 16, Duc, de Thanh Hoa and Trieu Ong Nhat, 25, Hoang Ong Nhat and Luong Thanh Mieu, the same 23, are being criminally detained by Dong Da District Police to clarify their law of arrest.

According to the investigation, in October 2020, Duc met a 19-year-old girl in Hanoi and fell in love. Duc confessed many times, but was rejected.
Duc then set up a plan to arrest his girlfriend, demand a ransom, and hire three accomplices to team up. At around 7:00 p.m. on March 4, Duc made an appointment with his girlfriend at the door of the Phuc Khanh pagoda in the Nga Tu So neighborhood. When the victim arrived, Mieu’s group forced her to get on a motorcycle and then took her to a house in Bau Village, Kim Chung Commune, Dong Anh District.
According to the available plan, Mieu took the girl’s phone to call Duc, asking for 500 million dong in ransom. After the call, Duc immediately went to the place of detention and gave the ransom to rescue his girlfriend.
Duc confessed to having made his girlfriend vibrate and accept her love. However, after escaping, the victim went to the police.
