The Health Ministry said that on December 28, the country discovered 10 new cases. COVID-19 (BN1442-1451) of which 9 cases were isolated in Khanh Hoa province and 1 case was isolated in HCMC.

Case 1451 isolated in Ho Chi Minh City is a Myanmar case illegally entered from the open road on December 24 (with BN1440) and then returned to Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, 10 Covid-19 cases announced on December 28:

– PATIENT 1442 (BN1442): Male, 39 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ba Be district, Bac Can province.

– PATIENT 1443 (BN1443): Male, 49 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

– PATIENT 1444 (BN1444): Male, 50 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Y Yen district, Nam Dinh province.

– PATIENT 1445 (BN1445): Male, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province.

– PATIENT 1446 (BN1446): Male, 26 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in the city. Uong Bi, Quang Ninh province.

– PATIENT 1447 (BN1447): Male, 56 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Dong Da district, Hanoi.

– PATIENT 1448 (BN1448): Male, 30 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.

– PATIENT 1449 (BN1449): Male, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ha Dong district, Hanoi.

– PATIENT 1450 (BN1450): Female, 29 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.

On December 25, 2020, BN1442-1450 from Russia entered Cam Ranh Airport on flight VN5062, isolated in Khanh Hoa province immediately after entry. The test result at the Khanh Hoa Province Center for Disease Control on December 27 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, BN1442-1446 is isolated and treated at Khanh Hoa Tropical Diseases Hospital, and BN1447-1450 is isolated and treated at Ninh Sim – Ninh Hoa Regional General Clinic.

PATIENT 1451 (BN1451): Male, 23 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in District 5, HCMC. This is the case of Myanmar who entered illegally on the open road on December 24 (with BN1440), then returned to Ho Chi Minh City.

Test results on December 27 at the City of HCM’s Center for Disease Control were positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, 1,451 patients are isolated and treated at the Cu Chi field hospital.

During the day, the whole country had 15 more patients declared cured (BN1354, BN1390, BN1398, BN1391, BN1142, BN1228, BN1309, BN1368, BN1371, BN1380, BN1333, BN1334, BN1374, BN1313, BN1221). So far, our country has cured 1,318 patients / 1,451 patients with Covid-19. Currently, there are no more serious cases of Covid-19 in our country. The death toll is still 35.

The Health Department recommends that the person involved in patients 1140 and 1151 contact the health department.

In order to be proactive in the prevention, detection and timely treatment of the risk that the Covid-19 epidemics may penetrate and spread in the community, the Ministry of Health recommends those who are in close contact and accompanying them to the school. BN1140 (male, 32 years old, resident of Mang Thit, Vinh Long, Myanmar illegally entered Vietnam on December 24) and BN1451 (above), immediately contact the nearest medical authority (the Province Center for Disease Control, Center health of districts, communes, districts, municipalities), or call the direct line of the Ministry of Health 19009095 to obtain advice, support and immediate implementation of the prevention measures for the Covid -19 epidemic.
