While sleeping in a motel room, the woman was suddenly attacked by her ex-husband and burned gasoline.
The scene of the incident caused a stir at the inn.
On 3/5, Di An (Binh Duong) city police were investigating and clearing up the case of a man drenched in gasoline and burned his ex-wife causing severe burns.
The incident occurred around 4:30 pm in a motel room at 77th Alley, Tran Dai Nghia Street, Binh An District, Di An City, Binh Duong Province.
At the time, Ms. NTD (32 years old) was sleeping in the motel room, Nguyen Thanh Ba (37 years old, from An Giang’s hometown, Ms. D.’s ex-husband) drove a motorcycle to find and bring a can of gasoline.
He entered the motel room and suddenly attacked Ms. D. Then, the subject put gasoline on his ex-wife and set her on fire.
Upon discovering the incident, Mr. Hieu (35 years old, living in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. D.’s boyfriend) and several others were sitting in front of the guest house and they threw into the fire.
A few minutes later, everyone took Ms. D. out and transported her to the emergency situation with severe burns. Some people who participated in the fire also suffered minor injuries.
Subject Ba, after the crime, had fled the scene but was burned, so he was able to run for a time, then he sat on the ground, then the police came to the hospital and took the testimony.
The fire also damaged many properties in the room. Police have come to the scene to investigate the case.
